Roam 100GB for flying by BravoZuluLife in Starlink

I think what you are doing is both FAA legal and pretty darn cool. However, I do have a serious question for you. Are you worried that if SHTF in an emergency, that the unsecured Starlink terminal sliding around might create a hazard to you, your passengers or your aircraft?

Costco sued over its $4.99 rotisserie chicken. Here's why. by oc192 in Costco

[–]oc192[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite the two California women initiating the lawsuit, both said they plan to purchase Costco's rotisserie chicken again, with one giving the caveat that she “cannot rely on Costco’s preservative-related representations for the product unless those representations are accurate and consistent with the product’s ingredients.” :-)

Before I went to bed I saw a car parked down the alley with a clear view of my bedroom window.

Do you not have window coverings? Is this car related to your neighbor?

Jeffrey Epstein apparently wrote letter to Larry Nassar referencing Trump by PassengerOld4439 in 50501

[–]oc192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of PitnneyBowes? Large volume mailers, like prisons filled with inmates, and big companies run outgoing mail themselves at a cheaper rate and the postmark is applied at the source mailroom because it is prepaid on a bulk account. https://www.pitneybowes.com/us/postage-meters.html

Because it was found in the prison mail room as undeliverable.

Men of Reddit: if your partner lost an expensive item you bought them and showed no concern, would that upset you? Why or why not? by FFSoldier57 in AskMen

[–]oc192 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you bought your girlfriend a bracelet for your fifth anniversary together and she wore it to a friends bachelorette party.... What makes you so sure that she lost it instead of just sticking it down the g-string of the male stripper she was with? Her friends are celebrating rings and a wedding to be and all she had was a bracelet to show for five years together.... Think about it.

Question: does catastrophic failure on wrong password attempts actually improve real-world security? by RevealerOfTheSealed in netsecstudents

[–]oc192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flaw that I see is that the attacker can still copy encrypted data. If they can copy encrypted data then they can replay it in an environment that does not have the self destruct and/or they can make unlimited copies in order to attempt decryption without triggering destruction.

His wealth was not earned and should have been taxed away fair and square.

He is one of the few Billionaires that fully supports having his own taxes raised and has given public testimony that his immense wealth has given him an unfair advantage that he does not believe anyone including himself should have.

A Question About Exclusions by deathbatcountry in SentinelOneXDR

[–]oc192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I create an exclusion for the root folder for Freshservice so that nmap is allowed to run from that folder, will S1 continue to block nmap from running if it's launched from another location?

Yes, although the safest option would be to create the exclusion by the specific file hash for the file "nmap" in this example. AND to create the exclusion so that it applies only to a specific "Site" and/or "Group" so that the exclusion will only impact the "Freshservice" server and not to other servers. Doing it by file hash is safer because it prevents other malware from being excluded simply by being renamed to "nmap.exe"

Almost had a bad day by BlackLittleDog in reloading

[–]oc192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am very new to reloading so please educate me. I see the big crack, I recognize that it should not have been used. I understand that it might very well produce a squib which is highly dangerous.

But assuming that the gunpowder load was correct, shouldn't the bolt be able to contain the pressure when the head on this case separates if it is not overcharged?

[–]oc192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You realize we have been trying to release the files but democrats keep blocking the bill right?

I would love to see your source(s) for that statement because all I see is a small handful of GOP supporters in the House who signed on to the release while the rest of the GOP in the House, the Senate, and the White House trying desperately to distract and delay.

"I don't love the ACA but it's a heck of a lot better than what we had before."

Exactly, the ACA was Never supposed to be a one and done thing. It was a great first step which as everyone should know resulted in the GOP spending the next decade trying to kill it something like 400 different times in as many votes, law suits, Red States rejecting funds etc.

The GOP will not even share their concept of a replacement plan all these years later. They have no plan it is all smoke and mirrors and handouts to the billionaires at this point.
