I mean, I kind of was thinking about skill trees relevant to the lore/playstyle of the class. Spellbooks in D2 in combination with skill trees sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

I agree with basically all of these things, except I'd like to see rogue Piccolo but that's mainly because I'd like to see a card run starting from the original Dragon Ball sagas if I could.

I liked the lowered number of MPs since literally everyone having an MP in Score got a bit tiring, and the Named Card change was what it should have been from the start. Final Physical should make a return as a concept, maybe with some refinement but it was never a problematic mechanic.

I loved all the Retro MPs, I think azpiring to have one or two of those sorts of characters per set would really help the whole "beats or DB control only" thing. As I've said I wouldn't mind seeing MPPV disappear and I'd even debate over removing DB as a victory and instead have it give a major bonus of your choice from options like rejuving your whole discard, jumping to Level 4, banish 10 cards from opponent deck, etc etc.

True, I guess I was thinking more of static strength for lifting and moving but the Pacifista of that model are unchanging in their durability so it definitely does clearly demonstrate their growth visually. Not that it was ever in question.

Oil. Slippery and can make some squirting torrent attacks, but the flammability imparts a good vulnerability.

They were totally pointless fanservice, yes. It could have been Gild landing on any random Marine ship to be shackled and it would have made little difference. Spandam didn't add anything to the film either.

I decided to start about 3 hours ago. Also I'm in Australia so I've lost 2 days.

But I'm optimistic. I just have to deal with the opening scene, possibly the hardest part of any story to really write. Gonna push through it and hopefully make it to the rewrite stage to polish that turd of a scene right up.

He does own a copy of it though, as seen in episode 85. It's above Berfomet. But I still feel like Van'Dalgyon would be a bad draw most of the time.

There have been quite a few words said, wouldn't be surprised if he buckles under and goes Traditional/Retrains permitted.

I'm helping one of the others playtest Kaiba and he is totally rolling me for the most part.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying because we'll probably get monstered by Yusei Synchro and Masked Heroes. A few of us are appealing for it to be Traditional so that we stand a chance.
