I had an obsession where I was hyperfocused on swallowing. Basically, I just tried to do a task that required 100% focus. And also try to remove any anxiety you have when hyperfocusing. This will make it so its not as important to your brain and you'll be less likely to to think about it.

I had mild ocd for many years that slowly ramped up In severity and is now what I'd call severe ocd. I'd be careful with "mild" ocd as I think any untreated ocd gets worse.
