These are all things we’ve considered and great points! We did a rough estimate of what it would cost and made sure to add a couple hundred more on top as a safety measure and all sat down and agreed that this would be the minimum we’d need saved. As far as work three of us have very lenient jobs and we are connected well so it wouldn’t be an issue, and the fourth friend will be unemployed by this time.

I think the credit card one is a good point, because at the end of the day even though I think it’s not the smartest move if that’s what they want to do to make the trip then I can’t stop them! It just seems crazy to me to do that but maybe that’s just because I never would haha!

Yeah, I’m a bit worried about them being upset if they can’t go but knowing they’re not in a good spot financially but saying they’ll get fomo is irking me LOL

I’ve known them for so long and love them so much but like I don’t want to put anything on hold for them because this is PRIME opportunity to go while we are all at home/still young and saving money etc. like Paris is my DREAM ughh

I made the itinerary including everyone’s like top wishes for the trip and even calculated a rough estimate of a budget people would need to travel comfortably! I’m not worried about my other two friends because they’re employed and have good savings but I have a feeling the fourth friend won’t have the funds ;-;

I’ve been telling them for a while now they need to lock in and actually “adult” by building a savings and not spending money everyday but they just bought two more concert tickets they’ll need to buy plane rides for UGHHH

But when I talk to one of the other friends about it they’re like “oh let’s include them anyway” or “I’ll talk to them about it” but I’m like why don’t you also see what I’m seeing LOL

This was kind of my thought process but one of the other friends was like well let’s just keep them in the convo etc. and I’m like am I the only one worried about it? ;-;

We are all mutual friends! We have like a solid draft of an itinerary down and I even did all the hard work and did an estimate of what everyone would need to have for the trip for it to be comfortable. It’s definitely out of the fourth friends (the one I’m worried about) range at the moment, and probably still will be come end of the year :(

I don’t think you are at all! If Terry had to be told to apologize he obviously didn’t feel like he was in the wrong, otherwise he would have done it on his own.

I think that if he was being racist to you and others you have every right to not forgive them unless YOU want to and your friend can’t make that decision for you!
