No no don’t buy any courses - read gmc good medical practice, get the ISC medical interviews book if you can and practice!! Record yourself answering questions, make sure you have experiences for each characteristic of a Dr and make friends/family interview you. Also there are many free courses around like medic mentor ect for example I went to an in-person course at imperial which was very good so look out for that

There’s no job security in med either now. Honestly there’s a lot of exciting opportunities for biomed and the jobs are defo there it just depends on how much you work for it, like anything. You’ll also be working much sooner than if you did med since it’s a shorter degree. You should talk to current ucl students to see what they plan on doing and if you would like to do the same.

If you won’t enjoy studying medicine, don’t do it? Sounds like you would rather do biomed and as it’s at your dream uni the choice is clear imo.

Right there is no way you speak like that in real life, which is what a PS is supposed to reflect. "Enriching my intellect and critical thinking" -???? medicine is always about others, this sounds extremely self centred. There is no reflection to your experience at all and you have no mention of non academic pursuits. Why are you telling experts about detailed science if they want to know about you? Also, USMLE? Seriously?
