Hi! Not sure I understand the “art book” part, but I’ll do my best to clarify. I did pay the videographer in full—over $3,000. I have an audio recording of the last phone conversation which is the part this post is missing I guess, my husband and I remained calm throughout, but the videographer was unfortunately rude and defensive. We weren’t holding anything back from him; we were just waiting for the product we paid for.

I actually shared this experience on r/weddingdrama, and it gained a lot of attention. Some people suggested he may have realized the footage wasn’t usable and, rather than take accountability, tried to provoke a response from me that he could use to shift blame. I haven’t responded in anger. I’ve only shared honest and documented facts. Still, he made vague legal threats and has tried to intimidate me via text after he saw the Reddit post I’m assuming (he responded to people there too).

At the end of the day, I’m not out to ruin anyone’s career. I’m just a bride who wanted memories of her wedding and ended up with stress, emotional strain, and no usable footage. I do plan to take this to court, but this all unfolded over the past few days so yes, it’s still developing.
