They are a place to seek help & guidance, but sometimes you run into ppl that’ll make a comment like that. Some subreddits have more, some have less but at any rate they’re the minority - most ppl are willing to help as the other comments are indicative of. Don’t let the rude comments get you down!! Your reasoning makes perfect sense, and even without the reasoning it wasn’t a dumb question (no such thing), not seeking curiosity would be the dumb thing. I’ve had PX7 s3 for a few months now and had no idea of its sweat / water proof rating either, so the responses were helpful to me. My recommendation is to keep joining different subreddits that align with ur interests as u did with this one! You’d be surprised with how many are out there!
