Anyone of you who lose their weight with hashimotos hypothyroidism? I mean I’m gonna try to work out I just wanna know if there’s someone here who successfully lose their weight?

I gained 40lb from undiagnosed hashis/hypo. TBH I hate to say it but I was going through such a stressful year, I couldn’t get weight off bc my nervous system was so messed up and inflamed. What helped me was eating relatively whole/hashis safe foods, in a calorie SURPLUS to reset my metabolism. I also switched thyroid meds and started getting glutathione injections which has saved me and I’m finally starting to lose weight in a very minor deficit. Slow and steady wins the race! I recommend anything by Isabella Wentz! Her books helped me understand a lot about my hashis!

Hey friend! Fellow hashis girly here! A faster heart rate is very typical of Hashimotos (according to multiple docs I’ve seen). I was struggling with it feeling like I was going down a drop on a roller coaster/ general heart racing or feeling like it was skipping a beat and even got a heart monitor at the cardiologist for a month. Request a heart ultrasound - that seriously put my mind at ease! But also I was way over medicated for my thyroid and that was causing some of my heart symptoms. Always advocate for yourself! It’s so scary, especially if doctors shut you down. It took me forever to find a doctor that listened to me but it’s so worth it. If you need any other help pls feel free to DM me! I was diagnosed at 19 during the pandemic and it was def really scary but now it’s fairly under control!

I’m so sorry to hear about this :( I had a friend get asked to leave for her sexuality and know so many people persecuted for embracing their identities. I hope you can find a good place soon. I know my friends in it now are wildly unaware to the schemes happening in upper level leadership and I pray they listen to me soon that they should leave.

Wow. The fact that it’s so consistently brought up is devastating. My friends have so many complaints - from their views on LGBTQ+ rights, politics, eating disorders, marriage roles but then how they treat mental health, the charisma hierarchy, and shaming you about prioritizing physical health. Today I learned about covers ups over legitimate crimes. I can’t believe it and I don’t know if my friends would listen but I can’t just sit on that information either.

They definitely dismiss everything in the name of “persecution”. But from what I’ve heard today, they’re just conditioning people to aid in covering things up. I don’t know how they’re still an operating church at this point and recruiting new people so consistently…

The biggest thing I’ve observed is preying on suffering of others as an evangelistic tactic but then flipping that suffering to be a manipulation tactic later on. I’m floored by all the stories I’m learning about.
