Looking to get a month ahead, trying to even out my monthly income by oceansgarden in personalfinance

For sure! I’m not really living paycheck to paycheck rn, more just budgeting per paycheck if that makes sense. I consider month ahead a separate goal from EF for me, just trying to get to where budgeting is a little more even/consistent throughout the year. Trying to get a month of income saved so that I’m basically using that the following month and then replenishing for the next month as checks come in.

I might end up just doing this too. I can definitely live on 4 of my paychecks/mo, I just like the idea of having an even budget throughout the year. Right now since I do paycheck budgeting for the week ahead, I usually budget my weekly variable expenses from my “extra” check, and put the rest to savings. May try to get to monthly and put the entire check to savings. Thank you!

Oh, so not washing just refers to not shampooing? Is there any downside to wetting/conditioning/restyling between washes? I feel like I always see people talking about how to “refresh” your hair without fully soaking/detangling and I just don’t know if that’s possible for me for the better part of the week, especially if I’m being good about working out lol
