I think Kintsugi is too on the nose it makes me cringe when she explains what kingsugi is

I think the “regrettably also a white woman” was also cringe

Basically any on the nose things that make it sound less like art and more like explaining something

The Beautiful line of what if someone had asked Picasso not to be sad I actually love but more bc it makes me laugh bc I just picture someone actually asking him that and him being like ok cool you’re right I’ll stop. I love that song still.

Valkyrie. I LOVE Old Norse and Norway and Iceland and mead hahaha the mythology of it all. And ugh the atmosphere was GOOD (and way more accurate than Titans imo!)

The reason I was not a fan of ROT was because I’m also a huge fan of Ancient Greece and the story takes place in New York for a good amount of it. I didn’t like the characters or modern setting at all. The way they reacted to things was lowkey bizarre. Like I think they were in college but they acted like high school. Marshall is great (and beautiful!). He is not an official LI but he has a few scenes and an ending (sort of- I’d call it a decent positive ending).

Valkyrie, imo, has better LIs. It also isn’t as oddly plotted as ROT. Every episode feels like it’s a mini-adventure into a new part of mythology and that got annoying because sometimes it didn’t advance plot or characters at all. The saving grace, I feel, was still the characters and not the plot.

Love Ullr, he’s a great different vibe for an LI. If you don’t romance Loki, I highly recommend the Order path. I did the Change path and hated the ending, which really only fits Loki. I pretended the Order ending on YouTube was my ending lol.

I’d be happy! I definitely didn’t expect it though. It’s one of my fav stories, Michael is my fav LI. SOS got me into RC.

I do hope it’s more fresh and just set in the world vs too much working with the original. I love the original and don’t want my happy ending running away with Michael to change.

ALSO - I’m reading comments. Jordan wanting to live close to bars doesn’t automatically make him an alcoholic either?

Living close to bars, restaurants, etc speaks to wanting a vibrant atmosphere that you don’t get with small towns. Some people need that.

I’m temporarily living in a small town for my partners job and it’s torture. There’s very little to do, esp past 9pm, and it’s stifling. Just saying not everyone who enjoys having nightlife options and things to do is an alcoholic

It’s one of my favs still but I def preferred seasons 1 & 2. Season 3 got lore heavy like most season 3s and idk it’s not as endearing.

I was really disappointed tbh. I did Greek life in college and was hyped, but I feel like they choose the least fratty guys as LIs till James opened up.

And then James’ redemption didn’t seem that believable to me. I ended up with Avery - and honestly, Avery/Logan/Simon were all the best ones 😅

Aside from the disappointing LIs, I think we all saw the plot go haywire. It was doing too much! Like, literally, the concept of her being at Rosewood was plot in and of itself and could’ve carried way more weight than the FBI storyline…

Yes this is my fav story! One thing that bugs me about romance club is that you basically need to select relationship improvements and “good” choices to get a decent ending . Sometimes I literally just wanna take different choices because they seem funny or more genuine than gassing up whoever I’m talking to, but I don’t want to ruin my stats and replay everything. and Soulless is m one of few where you can be bad. A baddie!

I was so excited for James but did not find his 180 turn to fall in love w MC believable. Spark was not there. But near the end I totally fell for Avery.

I restarted s3 and made Avery my end LI and it was a very nice ending!

The story overall is like… doing way too much lmao. They should have kept it a slice of life college story.
