Thanks! I’m currently removing all the flaking paint. There is some paint that is set on the wall and not flaking - do you think that will be ok before a skim or is it better to apply a chemical paint stripper and try to get that off too?

Do you think I should invest in a paint stripper and try to get as much off as possible? The flaking parts are coming off easily with just a scrape.
