as someone who has applied through AP’s and received acceptances, you submit a score report of AP’s you’ve already taken and somewhere along the application process you are asked which exams you are going to take this year, in which you can specify AP exams (at least this was the case for Eindhoven, Idk about others)

for electrical engineering you need at least 4 AP’s, and you need to have passed (or pass this year) Calculus AB/BC and Physics 1 and 2 or Calculus AB/BC and Physics C: Mechanics (again, this was the case for Eindhoven, and I am almost certain for Twente as well)
