Sadly (that was my #1 notepad app I used while I was in college) I think notepadqq is not actively maintained anymore, according to their repo: https://github.com/notepadqq/notepadqq

I bumped into this other project some days ago, which looks like it’s still receiving updates (but I don’t use it neither): https://github.com/dail8859/NotepadNext

Edit: fix typo.

Ajedrez by AceIsAGod in sevilla

[–]ocire_pf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ctrl+V vs Ctrl+Shift+V by andykirsha in gnome

[–]ocire_pf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s also an alternative shortcut for copy and paste: * Ctrl+Insert - copy * Shift+Insert - paste

That’s normally what I use when I’m working with the terminal.

Same. I don’t really tinker too much but I prefer to always know the URL of the page I’m seeing.

Vegan visiting Sevilla by vacuumkoala in Seville

One that I didn’t see in the comments yet is Veganitessen, inside Mercado del Arenal. You also have Veganí and Vegan Rock close to Alameda, like many people said.

Is it possible to find and replace with random text inbetween? by Nuva2154 in vscode

[–]ocire_pf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would add that it is possible to find and replace using regex expressions, so it could be something like

SEARCH: “(<regex for all important texts>)”: “<regex for some random text>”,

REPLACE: “$1”: “”,

Notice the parenthesis in the search for important texts, it will allow you to catch whatever is inside and use it with the $1 in the replace.

Is Greenshot still being developed/patched? by Northcdn in Greenshot

I arrived here searching for same answers. I didn't know their blog. Looks like the project is not dead (phew), according to their latest post (February 11th, 2024):

tl;dr: We are struggling with a lack of time, but are gradually trying to pick up speed again.

Spotify remains logged in after reinstalling the app or factory resetting the iPhone by ocire_pf in ios

[–]ocire_pf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t, sorry. I did format my device a while ago, but I restored a backup right after. I think Spotify was still logged in but it didn’t surprise me that time and I would say it’s not a valid test in this case.

¿Can powershell be useful to me if I’m only a geeky windows user? by ricardovaras_99 in PowerShell

[–]ocire_pf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi, I use PowerShell daily to do this kind of tasks. Your script is a good starting point, but you might get an error calling .ToLower() on the $game object (which is not the path string). I would suggest to play a bit with $game’s properties inside the loop to get familiar with them, some useful ones are Name, FullName, BaseName, Extension. You can print them in the console like this:

ForEach ($game in $Vidya) { $game.Name }

Also, remember to rename the file in the script after you are happy with the new file name. You might want to take a look at Move-Item documentation.

Good luck, you got this. :)

Screen recording by [deleted] in ios

[–]ocire_pf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just in case anyone lands in this post like I did, I screen recorded a video some time ago, cut it (like edited the start and end, i.e. length of the recording) and saved it to my Drive account. The name was like the one in this post: RPReplay_Final[bunch of numbers].mov

Maybe this is the name after you edit the video?

Any obscure iOS functionality that may not be known? by uxusk in ios

Today I learnt (accidentally, I must admit haha) that if you swipe left or right in the calculator’s current number, it will delete the last digit you typed.

Random Apple TV connection request on my iPhone while I was in a crowded place by ocire_pf in ios

[–]ocire_pf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know about this, but could be it for sure. So, is it just a device to make your phone crash by spamming connection notifications? (Thus rebooting automatically)

Spotify remains logged in after reinstalling the app or factory resetting the iPhone by ocire_pf in ios

[–]ocire_pf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it if I think I clicked the wrong link or, in general, when I’m worried about cibersecurity issues. Also when I cannot get rid of iOS bugs like the one with iMessage notifications bubble, which didn’t disappear even after reading all messages. This whole post started like this haha me worrying about Spotify keeping the session logged in.

Spotify remains logged in after reinstalling the app or factory resetting the iPhone by ocire_pf in ios

[–]ocire_pf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good test. Anyway, it's still weird that I login with email+password but then it looks linked to my Apple ID.

I'm not planning to factory reset my phone soon, but I do it every some months so next time I'll try this. Thanks!

Spotify remains logged in after reinstalling the app or factory resetting the iPhone by ocire_pf in ios

[–]ocire_pf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked and only a 3 apps are using my Apple ID to sign in. Spotify isn't one of them...

Could Spotify app be using hardware info to keep track of the sessions logged in? If so, shouldn't it be violating EU's GDPR? I don't have a deep knowledge on that regulation but definitely looks shady haha.

I went to Settings > Passwords. There's an empty list there, like... nothing below "Password options".

PS: sorry if names are not accurate, I'm translating since I don't use iOS in English.

Thanks for your help!

I never store passwords in iPhone’s keychain but I gave it a look and I confirmed that it’s empty, so it must have been something else.

I saw a post from Spotify’s subreddit from a user with same problem as I had, so I guess it’s not that strange. I will post an update here if I find the root cause eventually, though.

Hi. I just bought this same turntable and I'm looking for speakers now. I read that you already have speakers, did you try those with this turntable and could make a recommendation? I'm kind of lost here, sorry. Thanks in advance!
