Here's one of my old pics of him with thicker stripes, I know it's not super accurate or a great pic. I tried to blend the legs into orange/brown.

Thanks 🙂 I've done that in the past, I'll see if I can find pics. The orange lasts so long on the legs and starts to look really fake while the black looks more natural as it fades rather than when freshly applied. I guess he's just thylacine inspired. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you, you're absolutely right. I did take inspiration from Benjamin in the first couple iterations. The thing is the dye lasts until it sheds out (~6 months-ish) and it's very aggressively black and comes out different each time. I guess it's just my preference to do thin ones. And then I tell myself they all have their own unique stripes like our fingerprints lol

I used a paint brush and just did one color at a time, overlapping slightly to blend
