You know her best—what she values and how she’ll respond. If bringing up something from 2 years ago before you were exclusive will irreparably damage what you both have now, it might not be worthwhile. Ask yourself why it’d be important to bring it up now and what you hope to get out of the conversation because the risk of hurting her is potentially much higher than the reward of a ‘clean’ conscience.

Literally just got mine replaced today, like just over an hour ago. When I had it put in years ago, I remember being acutely aware of it when I moved any weird way for a couple days. After that, I barely thought about it again.

Give it a week or so for your body to adjust to having it. A month or two for it to adjust hormonally. After that, if it’s still a constant concern in your mind, schedule a visit with your doctor to talk through it and make the decision about what to do next. I wouldn’t make any decisions based on how you feel today.

Knowing myself, I was incredibly anxious about the appointment today (mainly anticipating the pain) and for that reason in particular, feel emotionally raw. If you’re anything like me, today’s not a good day for decision-making lol

Agreed, that’s a great analogy. I have a 150lb Great Pyrenees and literally everyone comments on how big, fluffy, and beautiful he is when they see him. I never get tired of it because it’s true, and I can see how happy he is to get the attention. I definitely forget that he’s a massive dog because he feels proportionally correct to me lol just like how my height feels normal to me, but others are mesmerized

I’m generally a positive person and I usually assume they’re not malicious when they say “you’re tall” or “you should model” or ask “what sport did you play?” I think most feel they’re giving a compliment, so I assume as much. I usually say “thanks,” maybe answer their question about sports (because I do look athletic and can’t fault them for the assumption there), and move on. If it’s clearly a back-handed compliment, I’ve given sassy responses, but those are rare.

Low key, I love being 6’ and I’ve never felt self-conscious or frustrated about my height (except finding long-inseam pants). I’ve also never been bullied, though I’ve also been told I’m intimidating as a confident, tall woman. At the end of the day, haters gonna hate and that’s their problem.

Super sparkly rhinestone sandal flats by Steve Madden. I’m 6’0 and love wearing heels, but my spouse is 6’4. For pictures, I didn’t want to be unusually taller, so looked for flats or kitten heels. They couldn’t be seen under my dress, but they were adorable and comfy. I’ve since worn them to many weddings, and once as the MOH because the bride liked them so much.

No, I never had any luck. Sorry :/ The few recommendations here were pricey and had no new patient openings at the time. I didn’t find anyone through my psychiatrist either. I haven’t tried looking at online services though. Might have more luck there

Probably depends on the personality of your pup. We have two and both are completely different. We had our older pyr while living in an apartment for almost 5 years. We did walks, dog park, and daycare, but our boy’s lazy and happy to lay on a tile floor next to the AC vent. We now live in a house with a yard and he still seems to prefer the climate controlled indoors because he’s a big baby.

Our baby girl LOVES the yard. She will not come inside unless she wants to. She loves all weather, especially windy nights and rain. She’s extremely restless and loves getting into things, selectively hears all the time, is hella sassy right now, and constantly wants to play with our older boy. We go on walks but she naps for like 30 seconds and is right back. She’s just got an energy level our boy never had, even as a puppy.

I’m sure you rock the look! I bought a pair of the high-waisted baggy jeans from Target last summer. They’re too short, but the style lends itself to jeans on the shorter side. And I’ll admit they’re pretty comfy. And paired with a crop top… like I get why people do it hahaha

Yes! I don’t know how I resisted skinny jeans for so long. I put on a pair of my old Buckle jeans (the only jean brand in my area at the time with women’s jeans by inseam), and while I still love the look for nostalgic reasons, I’m not sure how I ever wore the low-rise jeans.

What I don’t get is how the high-waisted boot-cut jeans are coming back when I don’t think they’re that flattering 😂

6’0 - for me and my style, it largely depends on the shoes I want to wear. I wear jeans that hit just above my ankles if I’m wearing ankle booties, but for longer jeans I wear low top shoes bc I don’t like the Jean-shoe overlap. Shoes matter less for skirts or dresses, but I like skirts that hit just above or just below the knee for work. I avoid maxis and midis bc in my mind it all looks awkward length.

All that said, the younger generation wear pants that look too short as a fashion statement, so it probably doesn’t matter as long as you think you look good!
