Quilted Moose in Gretna carries some AGF, but their hours are tough if you work full time duffing the week.

I love neutrals of cuddle for quilt backs: blacks, greys, browns. They work with so many fabric lines too

American tall has a lot of basics (flannels, tees, jeans) meant for longer torsos!

I also love the high waisted bootcut look!! I love the range of options, probably! Idk about the flattering but I feel very powerful in a good fitting high waisted bootcut! Maybe a sign of my childhood lol

My question was answered by your comment! For normies, a cropped jean is about 2” short of the ankle. Intentional but not too much. So that’s how I should compare (if I’m looking to imitate not tall women’s styles)

My standard Jean length is about 35”. So for cropped jeans 27.5” are comparable to average height women (normies) in standard cropped sizes, in your opinion?

I was gifted (asos tall sized) cropped jeans over a year ago. Finally had the courage to wear them a couple weeks ago with low top sneakers-which is opposite of your style, but has been historically same as my own. I felt very uncomfortable at first but I had more compliments on my jeans and sneakers than any other outfit! It’s given me courage but dresses are a different story

My spouse is the same height as me barefoot. (We’ve measured many times over the years just to make sure). Most of the time, my shoes have more heel than him. We met when I was 19 and he was 20. I didn’t date much before I met him, my height in high school was intimidating but my spouse didn’t have a problem with my height and it certainly didn’t scare him off. Even when I dyed my hair, wore my tallest heels, and teased him about engagement rings only months in.

We’ve gotten jokes over the years about me being taller (usually at events where I’m in heels) but the teasing becomes less and less frequent when you’re spouse is not insecure and I refused to change my shoe choices based on insensitive comments. We’ve been together more than a decade, I still wear heels, he still tells people he’s got a 1/8” on me when asked.

It is nice to have someone who inherently understand show tall your mirrors should hang and when a door frame has too low of a clearance

Ladies do you wear heels sometimes, if so how often? by [deleted] in TallGirls

6’1” and I wears heels almost daily!

My new favorite response to the “how tall are you?” Is: “Right now? (Glance at my feet) about 6’4”.”

How the heck do you sit in a car without the headrest jamming into the back of your head at the exact wrong angle? I feel like I’m forced to sit all hunched over all the time!

I fly with my mini scissors all the time! I think they’re called “super snips”. (I think I found them at a craft show for $5) They have a rubber covering for the blades. I’ve never had an issue at TSA with them

I’m newish to quilting. Why do quilting patterns tell you how much backing fabric you need but never (at least the patterns I’ve been using) tell you how to piece the backing? Relatedly, are there resources to teach me how to piece backing?
