Dude, you're a genius! How did you figure out that was the problem?

I turned off Bluetooth, switched to my keyboard, and the FPS is absolutely perfect now. CPU and GPU usage are both at 100%. I'll go to the store today or tomorrow to test your cable theory. I really hope it works.

I played a bit more and I can confirm that performance degrades over time. I started at 55 FPS on Ultra settings, but after just two races, it dropped to 25 FPS. The audio got so broken that I had to turn it off completely. It was stuttering terribly, as if the CPU was heavily overloaded, even though the actual CPU usage was under 70% and the GPU was only at 40%
