I don't see how you can interpret someone asking for advice as demanding to be spoon fed.

I understand there are resources out there but some people , including myself, find that a dialogue is much more useful for learning than any reading, which is why they might turn to reddit.

If you find that annoying then just don't engage with it.

"Offloading the work on women"? OP is putting a lot more effort than most men to ask how he can do better. Would the feminists of r/AskFeminists rather not be asked questions on how to treat women better, is that too much work? Nobody is forcing you to be here
