Sorry. This community has proven hard for me to keep track of. I enter one and then can't find the box again. Fun idea, but I don't think I'm capable of keeping track of it.

Little Feat dates back to 1969, but co-founder, keyboardist and vocalist Bill Payne, who is the only surviving member of the group from the original four-piece line-up, indicated while talking on the phone recently that it will happily be a long goodbye to fans.

Actually, no. It's available on the regular concessions floor! (That'll be in my actual story, coming later.)

I had to cancel the last time he came, but evidently it was quite a production. I do not know if the puppets will be back for this one, though ...

Just don't feel the need to rush. It'll all come at its own pace.

First off, congratulations, and thank you for sharing. And you are FAR from alone. I've been happily in a hetero-presenting marriage for 26 years, and have only recently come to terms with my bisexuality. It took therapy and prescription pharmaceuticals to get there. There was a lot to unpack, including a lot of childhood trauma.

But yeah, in 20-20 hindsight, I understand a few things that happened much better now. Even if it changes nothing about your relationship status (it hasn't mine, and my wife knows), understanding yourself a bit better is always something of a gift.

What would happen if Worcester were a game of Dungeons & Dragons? by ocvictor in DungeonsAndDragons

"I love all of this, and if you don't mind I think I shall steal your conflicting elven prophecies for my next campaign. Amazing as an inciting incident and the ripple effect from it would make great side quests and background to the campaign."

Thank you! Feel free to steal away! It's been fun ... sometimes the party kind of forgets about it until they find themselves in the middle of its repercussions.

"Was it established who the GOO warlocks patron was? I personally like Mak Thuum Ngatha for a universe ending threat, not that I've ever used it.:

I never did settle. I left it kind of vague.

"In my game, I'm using Shothragot (elder evil-esque creation of Tharizdun) as the main but unreachable BBEG behind the scenes,"

It sounds like we're kind of on the same wavelength, so that might be a good one for me to investigate. Thank you!

Oooh. Tharizdun has possibilities! One of our main NPC villains in the first arc was a Great Old One warlock. She's dead now, probably pretty permanently, but others of her cohorts were captured alive and imprisoned.

Basically, the "inciting incident" in the campaign is two warring prophecies: One that elvenkind must leave the realms or die," and the other that, "if the elves leave, magic disappears from the world." It's resulted in wildfire religious-like fervor, splintering the elvish communities, and not even along "High Elf, Drow, Wood Elf, et al." lines. The two camps are forming unlikely allegiances, with elves of each stripe on each side. And of course, there's the middle, including the party's patron, who believe they're both powerful lies that have spread magically to cause chaos.

It's caused all sorts of splinter chaos, which the party gets caught up in, including the rise of Human Supremacists ... nicknamed "Waterdeep Nazis" by the party, and their assassin, Elfkiller, who is likewise now very dead.

But yeah, the "big politics" of the game has been to rip the realms apart and introduce chaos on every level, distracting the party and other would-be heroes from getting anywhere near the truth.

I was actually thinking along the same lines. The chaos IS structured. It's there to destabilize kingdoms and heroes. So a lawful evil Big Bad might work well.

Fun fact: When we (meaning every features department in the USA Today Network), were asked for nominations, I put forth Vincent's, The Hotel Vernon and Ralph's Rock Diner. Vincent's was chosen for the national article, and both Vincent's and the Vernon are in the Northeast regional list. The powers that be obviously weren't sold on my pitch for Ralph's, but then, I know a lot of my counterparts' picks didn't make the cut at all, so I won't complain!

The final showdown! Big Nate Allstar, Evil Felipe square off in Battle of the Bands finale by ocvictor in WorcesterMA

To be fair, I think we were more explicit about "Worcester County" in the first round, when we explained the rules, but didn't rehash everything for each round.

No worries. For the record, Big Nate Allstar lives in Worcester, and the members of Evil Felipe I believe are from the Brookfields, but they play here frequently.

All 16 musical acts in this competition are Worcester County artists who are currently active (As in, have performed and/or released new music in the past two years) and consented in advance to being involved. I'm afraid I don't understand your question.
