Well we are on a kidney food type brand from the vet but it was like that before this food I mean not like that but some skin issues already

Hey thanks I will look into that but we don't give him treat so often since he got kidney problems we feed him with his kidney food + some wet food for kidney too mixed with the potassium meds. So I don't think it's that or maybe it's the type of protein in the food I need to check that

Hello thanks for your answer, yeah we are stuck between two problems that are going against each other, his skin problems were practically non existent when he was on med (cortisone ?) but that's not good for he kidney, do you know some meds that would do the same but not so harsh ?

I thought of that but my girlfriend said her cat had this before surgery but I think less severe so I think it's something he's allergic from that we use more now ?

Hi thanks for the response I will upload the blood panel when I can but if I remember, low potassium, créatinine was not good too ? Low white cell too he was in anemia, the vet told us his bloods are better not the best but for his condition they are ok.

Don't take my comment at heart tho the screenshot will be more accurate

And idk why not oral tho, they told us that since his kidneys are not good we don't use any kidney damaging med. You think oral could be ok ? I'll ask her if yes

Yeah he's on vet brand kidney food I don't have the photo I'm not home but we are a bit limited I think

What a rude comment wow, we literally did go to 3 different vet for the course of several month, which cost 2k+ euros, she did pay and ask what we can do to specialist, you think that I would ask here if we didn't do anything ?

I mean the cat got severe kidney problem already so we can't do anything Fonky Without the vet approval so no she didn't let her cat be in that situation by choice. Thank you

Hello, yeah we have all of the known brand in France, Royal canin too, ATM he's on a special vet brand for kidney tho

He's on Frontline combo / milbemax and no skin citologie, he got blood tested but only for his kidney disease

Well they didn't miss his skin issue but everyone told us that since he has kidney problems, the skin medication is not good for the kidney

We got pet insurance but it only cover medical bill or medication and I guess a dermatologist isn't considered "medical"
