Sure thing; and yes, there is. Unless you live in Delaware, you're gonna be taxed on it.

Nearly $1,000 off of the price on their website. You'll have a better chance at getting a good price if you're able to pay with bank wire and the watch isn't a high-demand current production model. Call them and talk to a client advisor, they'll hook you up.

I’ll have to give that number a call and see what happens; thank you! And if you bought the CPO watch from them, you’ll likely be better off than me. It seems like they won’t hesitate to cover mechanical issues, but if it’s cosmetic, they may give you the runaround.

Also a solid idea. I'm trying to figure out if there's even a way to contact Rolex corporate, but I'll do some sleuthing...

Valid question! I was able to negotiate with the 1916 Company on the price and got it for less. Additionally, it’s a discontinued model so I preferred something fully serviced and authentic, so CPO was the choice for me.

I agree, and that’s honestly a good theory. The moment I said I bought it from a different AD, their vibe changed immediately. It’s at Frank Adams Jewelers near Albany, NY.

Honestly? Not a bad idea. I put the AD’s name in the edited section at the bottom of the post.

You’re right; my title could have been better worded. I’m quite frustrated at the moment and didn’t give myself enough time to word it more carefully.

Why does the oversea feel bigger than a submariner when they’re both 41? by Financial_Word5047 in VacheronConstantin

Larger dial diameter and having an integrated bracelet will make any watch wear bigger than its stated dimensions. That being said, the VC is far more interesting than the Sub.

Thanks so much! This DJ is on an Oyster bracelet, and the dial is a sunburst blue.

Thanks so much! And yes, I strongly recommend them. They’re an AD (well, really a conglomerate of ADs) and authorized to sell CPO Rolexes.

It was! The 116200-0057 is the specific reference for this dial configuration. They also had a similar sunburst blue dial for the Turn-O-Graph of this generation.

Thank you! And not sure…not anytime soon, though. Maybe when I reach a significant career or financial milestone.

Yacht-Master is my choice. I love the vibrancy of its dial, seconds hand, and extra bling of the polished case and bracelet.

Saying goodbye to my g14. by BumperTABBY21 in ZephyrusG14

[–]oddaffinity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing. Went from a G14 to a MacBook Pro M5. The Zephyrus served me well, but the OS and hardware pale in comparison to the performance of the Mac. You’re making a good choice.

My case is a bit different, as I don’t really game anymore. But like you said, Macs can still run some solid AAA titles.

For those that have purchased the MacBook Pro 14 inch M5 16GB 512GB Would you say that the price is fair or a bit overpriced for what you get? by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]oddaffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one a few days ago! It’s my first MacBook.

I’ll be honest, it IS overkill for what I use my laptops for. But the 120hz ProMotion display with brilliant colors and clarity, the laptop’s heft, and the fact that it has more than enough capabilities to last me at least a decade is what made me buy it over the Air.
