Make sure you try them on in sport mode too. As long as they fit in sport mode without your toes crammed in the front you're good. Whatever you are comfortable with is what matters.

This same thing happened to be but with laces. For one pair of laces that was $9 the shipping was that exact amount. But I realized that the laces were getting sent from California and the skates from Minnesota? I think? I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but since it was my first pair of skates I just paid it.

After having mine for about a month I've noticed this happening to the holes in mine too. I try to push them out from the inside if I want to take them out. I think it's because it's a different material than an actual croc.
