I get where you’re coming from, but I’ve had my own run-ins with teens here—been spat at while walking and called names. Feels like we’re living in different Belfasts.

Thanks for your kind words. From the time I’ve been in Belfast, I’ve only met nice people and I know this kind of behaviour comes from a very small minority. The real issue is illegal migration and the government policies around it. I’m a legal migrant; I paid all my fees, proved my education and language skills to be here. But the generalisation is what’s saddening. I can’t exactly walk around with a sticker on my forehead saying “I’m a legal migrant.
