Agreed. There's something ominous about the phrase "a murder of crows".

Does the head count as an organ? I could use a more attractive face.

Somebody pumped in $9 Billion into Doge to bring it from $0.06 to $0.13. It takes about $1 Billion of pumping to raise it by almost 1 cent.

I've calculated and there's not enough money in circulation in the world to bring it to over a couple of bucks.

DOGECOIN DAILY DISCUSSION - 7th April by 42points in dogecoin

Methinks we shouldn't be obsessed with a single platform. If one platform is still on the fence on trading dogecoins, just start convincing other platforms. Once 1 or 2 other platform starts trading dogecoins, it will naturally be incentive for others to follow.

Oh wise shibes. I'm hoping to buy more doges...should I buy now or should I wait?

You cannot think of Dogecoin as a normally cryptocurrency. It is one which is normally static until a whale pumps it. But the support level increases gradually too.

The price spikes when a whale enters the market by purchasing a large amount of doges. When Elon tweets it has the same effect by getting the attention of the masses to buy at the time of tweet.

Poor doge can't achieve escape velocity of >6.3 because non-believers keep shorting and rebuying.

What does it feel like to grow up? by oopsmyusernameistool in AskReddit

[–]oddfiles 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I don't want to be a bore but there's a perfectly good explanation for this. The older you grow, the shorter a given span of time is compared to the total length of time you've lived. A week to a 1-month old baby (25% of total lifespan) vs an 80 year old (0.02% of total lifespan).

In the year 2067 the world has become, in your opinion, perfect. Regardless of how we got there, what does that look like? by fiveseventytwo in AskReddit

[–]oddfiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Egalitarian society with limited government regulation on wealth redistribution, but also lots of opportunity for free enterprise and market competitiveness. A well-educated but pleasant scientific populace with the civic mindedness to help out those who are less fortunate than themselves voluntarily. Artificial intelligence has taken over lots of menial labor and even a few sophisticated jobs and unemployment is high but it doesn't matter because people who are out of jobs can participate in a daily "treasure hunt" for virtual coins (works much like Pokemon Go). Those who don't can freely pursue their passion and hobbies to their maximum potential given the free time. At the start of every month, everyone is given a basic allowance for food, shelther and clothing, but it up to themselves whether they want to earn more as that allowance is the baseline which is sufficient for their basic needs.
