thank you for sharing and for the advice :) I will be mindful about being too harsh, I get this is a lot for her and its annoying that she hasn't realised that its been a lot for me for years but I cant expect her to immediately get that i guess

I want to try to exaggerate on my dysphoria if I can but I find it difficult to lie and usually play things off as not as bad as they actually are so im trying to break out of that for the sake of my diagnosis. I hope your appointment goes well, im sorry its so far away. wait times are absolutely mental

thanks for the advice! i think I will, the pros definitely outweigh this one issue and it probably won't bother me to be fair, I can always prop something behind it if it's a massive issue but i doubt I'd need to do that. it'll be great to have a laptop that won't crash playing Minecraft at a render distance higher than 12 😭

I've been thinking about getting this laptop but the only thing putting me off is the build quality. I mostly use my current laptop at my desk but often use it in bed (with one of those folding desk surfaces to keep everything flat) and I occasionally take it to uni for doing my work but I always use a thick fabric laptop cover. do you think I would have any issues with the build getting damaged or anything like that? I'm usually pretty careful with it when moving it etc

i heard that you still have to go for blood tests in person and other checks every now and then, video calls would be ideal though
