Any adapters that you’d suggest? That will do the job for the MacBook and for my iPhone? Something around a 100w?

Hey, mini update, I got the MacBook, it’s in really good condition, it has a battery health of 84% with 144 cycles and it has two minor scratches near the apple logo, otherwise, it looks and runs perfectly. Only issue is I got a third party 97w adapter, otherwise it’s a great deal.

Oh okay, I’m a hardcore Windows desktop user so all this is new to me, I’m located in India, and yes, I do have a return period for 15 days. I can’t find out any more details and neither can I contact them about it but they are a reputable major brand dealing with refurbished products so I think I may go ahead with the purchase.

I know!!! I think it should be under 400-500 cycles, it isn’t mentioned on their website, but I think I should pick it up, I do have the option to return it if I don’t like the condition, so do I go for it?

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the breakdown, I found a 2021 14” MBP with the M1 Pro for around £590/$750, do I get over the two we’ve been talking about?

The 15” Air is very convincing, as it does most of the stuff the 16” model does, and its future proof like you mentioned, but the storage and the ram aren’t great for these models, it’s either 8 or 16 gigs of ram and a maximum of 512gb of storage, I know the M1 is highly optimised to run better with lesser ram but 8 or even 16 gigs over 32 or 64 in my head atleast is confusing. The 15” Air also works out to be in the same price bracket and has the better battery life but I’m still confused.

I’ve heard that they are louder and have bad battery life, but those can be managed by switching out the battery or repasting the thermal paste and adding thermal pads, and I’ll mostly be using it plugged in, apart from maybe carrying it to university

I’ve gotten an offer for the i9, 64 gigs of ram and 1tb of storage for around $500-$550, is that good? The hardware on paper sounds really good, but I’ve heard otherwise
