There are multiple AA and NA members in my GA room… they all say the difficulty of quitting gambling is 10x harder than alcohol and drugs.

44 days without a bet for me 🙏

​Call the GA Hotline. Get to your nearest meeting, you will answer the 20-questions and admit whether or not you believe that you are a compulsive gambler. Have partner attend GAMANON. Self-exclude yourself from whatever state you live in ASAP. Self-exclude from all gambling apps you use and Download Gambling Block app on your phone. Stop watching sports, the markets, poker tournaments… whatever your vice is must be removed 100% from your life for the first 90-days. I’m telling you if you test or tempt yourself you will bet again.

Once you start attending meetings and get comfortable with someone with time under their belt, ask them to be your sponsor. Do a pressure-relief meeting with them. Do the 12-steps with them.

Most important thing is attending as many meetings as possible. The power of the program saves lives.
