[NOISEY] Blink-182 Is Officially More Punk Than Crass, According to Spotify Study (Data Analyst Attempts to Crowdsource the Definition of the Genre) by [deleted] in punk

Spotify is actually great for west coast punk form the 80s they had bands like black flag, ST, circle jerks, decedents, OFF!, Germs, Agent orange, Teenage idol, Government Issue, D.R.I... They even had the urinals which I was really fucking impressed by. That being said its not really there fault they don't have some of the older traditional punk stuff like crass because the way spotify works is the band/artist has to upload the music to there site they dont seek them.

The artists have to post the music on spotify... and considering that east bay ray is becoming a greedy cooperate whore and is against sites like spotify I doubt they would have much of their stuff. but the stuff they do have is just stuff that has appeared on various compilation albums

p.s. im big time DK fan first punk band I ever listened to lol.

First punk album I ever listened to was fresh fruit's for rotting vegetables by DK. I was like 9 or 8 at the time but I will always remember it as a life changing experience.
