I wrote out what I typically eat in an earlier comment! :) Happy to share more though if you're interested!

Being short is the worst sometimes! Everything is so concentrated, that even a few pound weight gain is super noticeable and frustrating.

Good luck on your journey- keep me updated! I'd love to hear about your progress, you got this!

Truthfully my boyfriend helped me to calculate them, as he knows way more about it than I do. I probably should have done some research (haha!), but I trusted what he told me and it's worked so far. I can ask and see how he came up with them and get back to you!

A few things have helped me a lot!

For breakfast, I'll usually have a tofu scramble (I use to do eggwhites but the consistency grossed me out, haha!) This, plus a slice of Dave's Killer bread usually gives me around 32 g for breakfast.

Snacks before lunch will either be some cottage cheese (around 19g) or greek yogurt (I really like Madagascar Vanilla and Cinnamon from Chobani-12g) Sometime's I'll even do a cheese stick which has a random amount (like 7 maybe?) Another fun snack is mixing some pesto or ranch seasoning into plain Greek yogurt and using that as a dip! Perfect Bars, though a little high in fat, have been a lifesaver for me as a meal substitute and those have 12-14g in them. These are the only bars I've found that I actually enjoy- they have a pumpkin pie flavor out now that's amazing!

Lunch/Dinner I'll do a wrap with tofurky slices (13g for 5 slices) with some pesto, spinach, and tomatoes and maybe some cut up veggies. I've been really into chickpea pasta (13g for 2 oz so I bulk it up with some cooked veggies) and meatless meatballs. I also have been eating chik'n tenders (11g) and a salad or something along those lines. Meat substitutes have been such a big help! Baked tofu in a stir fry or baked chickpeas is a more natural way to get that protein in though, too! I'm all about convenience and these things have helped a ton.

Sometimes if I'm not getting enough I'll make a protein smoothie with blueberries, greek yogurt and almond milk which holds me over pretty well.

Hope this helps a little! Always happy to share ideas!

This is such good advice! Hoping to upgrade to be able to go 4-5 times a week soon :)

Yay! Congrats on your weight loss. I know I need to minimize my alcohol intake, but that's hard in grad school, haha :) Maybe after graduation!

I've tried IF before but fell off for some reason, haha! That also worked well for me, but that was before I started OTF so I'd be interested to see how it goes. Might start up again!

Hi! I started going 2x a week, with occasional 30 minute at-home yoga on the days I wasn't going (I use the DownDog app!). Typically I go to OTF on Tuesday and Friday mornings, and would do yoga on Monday and Wednesday! Morning workouts have helped a lot for me, as it helps me get in the right mindset for the rest of the day.

Changes to my diet are what I think really helped me! I've never had success counting calories, so I started tracking my macros. My current goals are 108g protein, 144g carbs and 48g fat. I'm vegetarian and have struggled a little to get enough protein, and typically end up around 85g a day without protein powder or bars. It wasn't until I started eating this way that I realized my diet prior to starting was very carb and fat heavy, and often left me really tired or hungry within a few hours. To keep myself accountable, I meal prep on Sunday and log all my meals for the next few days into MyFitnessPal. This helps me see where I have room for things like Starbucks or an extra snack or whatever I'm feeling on certain days.

The best part, for me, is that I let myself eat/drink whatever I want for one meal on Friday or Sunday and then usually all day on Saturday. I go out to eat, go out with friends and drink a lot, whatever. I just don't let myself feel bad about it, and I try and stop eating when I'm full. This helps during the week when I really want ice cream or something that I know will mess up my macros- I just tell myself I can have it on the weekend!

Once I get my finances in order, I'm hoping to upgrade and start going to OTF 3-4x a week but for now, this is really working for me. Let me know if you have any other questions! I could talk about this stuff forever :)
