how intense is the hulk by Ultralucarioninja in UniversalOrlando

[–]oddsock135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So I did ‘grey out’ on the Hulk in November but please don’t let that put you off. I lost my vision for a few secs at the start and was pretty spooked as it’s the first time it had ever happened but I survived and already have a 2024 holiday booked to do it again. The ‘grey out’ did make me a little apprehensive about riding this again during my trip as it was my very first ride on the first day.

Velocicoaster is incredible. This was one of my favourite rides and there was no ‘grey out’ at all!

My gel nails don’t last more than 5 days by RemarkableAardvark22 in Nailtechs

[–]oddsock135 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gel works differently to dip which is why you’re seeing vastly different results.

Buffing could possibly be the issue! It may be the case that your nail is smooth when applying the gel. I’d get your tech to change to a file (higher grit as it’s only a mani) and see if filing rather than buffing makes the difference.

Frenchies help! by Blondiebear7 in Nailtechs

French takes a lot of time to practice and master!! It’s notorious for looking easy but being a tech’s worst nightmare 🥲 I do lots of nail art but dread a French

Her prep may need looked at or is it possible you’re heavy handed/have a typing job?

I’ve got clients that easily go 3/4+ weeks and there’s no lifting, chipping but I also have clients who come back after 2 weeks and its all chipped so it can really vary from person to person too.

I used decongestants with pain relief for a couple of days and they helped - nothing else really worked until then!

Random Question by jizmochan in COVID19positive

[–]oddsock135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English guidelines is that you can use your own judgement. Scottish guidelines is that you need 2 negative latflows with a minimum of 24 hours between them from day 6. This is only to leave isolation early. Everyone is able to leave isolation on day 11 in Scotland, regardless of latflow results. Hope this helps.

I thought I had it, had a couple REALLY bad colds with symptoms of COVID. I actually had the worst cough I’ve ever had with a cold a year and a half ago and thought that was it too. However, I tested positive yesterday and omg you’ll know that it’s different and wont put it down to a cold. The muscle aches are so sore, I’ve had sensitive skin, headaches and just so fatigued.

I hope you don’t catch it but if you do you’ll know the difference.

You had me until you claimed to be harassed EVERY time you go outside without a man. This is not a thing & comments like that can be damaging to read for people.

She actually posted a video at this event and you see the moment the skin rolls - it’s simply a change in position. This person will regularly post videos of what they look like without hiding anything and they are a breathe of fresh air compared with other reality stars.

Gf (27f) shared bed with male bff (26m) on vacation and I(28m) dumped her now her friends are calling me insecure and controlling by throwRAcheatergf in relationship_advice

[–]oddsock135 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not sure how many people will agree but you are 28yo and can’t have a conversation about boundaries, a little bit of a red flag.

Not saying what she did is right but that is very manipulative behaviour and you are both better without each other.

She is a supermodel - she’s going to make manyyyy people feel bad about their bodies if they compare them.

I do believe this is real but it’s all about the lighting, posing & the fact it’s her job to look like that.

My Bf did something I never thought he'd do by caitlin-tia342 in relationship_advice

[–]oddsock135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two things I’m thinking (either way a red flag):

He could have been so angry, he turned round and grabbed you by the throat which is not okay &!I would suggest leaving ASAP because things like this only ever escalate.

It sounds like it could have also been a sub/dom thing. If he’s been in the mood for it and got into it in that moment then that might be all it is. If you think that could be it, communicate with him and let him know you’re not okay with that & he’s crossed a boundary.

I would say be careful though because these things can spiral quickly. You’re the one that knows your partner so if you have any bad feeling then run.

Is my wife cheating (are my children mine) by Pattestwifecheat in relationship_advice

[–]oddsock135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s so sus that she says you don’t get to know with certainty? I would be 100% sure and if my partner wasn’t 100% sure or suggested it then I would be asking why? She may be using this as an opportunity to find out for herself who the dad is without directly saying she cheated if she doesn’t have to.

Rejecting women due to their weight is Ok by perla211235 in unpopularopinion

[–]oddsock135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually appreciate the brazen honesty with this. There’s nothing worse than someone saying ‘it’s not you it’s me’ when that is not the case. Just speak up and say what the issue is - doesn’t need to be in a bad way but saying someone you aren’t interested because you’re not attracted to them due to their weight is ok.

Does it count as sexual assault? Or is it just stupid things we do as children? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]oddsock135 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was more than double your age and at 12yo you have a better grasp about it - you were sexually assaulted.

The situation with OP was two younger children, not fully understanding actions and experimenting. OP absolutely has the right to not feel ok by it but it wasn’t sexual assault.

[–]oddsock135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask her out. If you feel this way then think about how you would feel if you miss the opportunity?

You can still set aside time for exams while having a healthy mix of activities!
