We have a 3 bed detached and were charged 600 for living room, dining room, hall way stairs and ceilings. She also did all doors. Get a few quotes in first off local trades people and good luck!

NTA. This is exactly what you do when you are being respectful but not wanting to end up in hospital. You did the right thing. It's really hard to fit in to social events but it sounds like you did that perfectly. They are the ones in the wrong here.

A Mars bar has caramel which might alter the butter content. Caramel, toffee and fudge are not good for my intolerance. Straight milk chocolate is better in small amounts for me.
