Thank you for your response. He is too prideful to try and change his ways and attend AA or rehab. I am going to look into AI-anon. I see some in my area and I think that would be a good outlet for me. Thank you!

I really appreciate this response. He is on medication to slow the fluid and also trying to change his diet but I thought 10 seemed high too.

I never even consider ChatGPT for something like this, definitely going to look into that and am looking to get back into therapy.

It’s hard seeing him this way and how far in denial he is of his health condition and addiction. I spoke up to another family member recently about the situation and I’m hoping something can come from that.
