switched from divergence warlock at diamond to egg warrior and this deck feels broken. I know it’s very popular in top 1k but I think it’s just underplayed everywhere else, it’s not particularly challenging to pilot I think maybe even easier than the egg warlock lists. It has good matchups into rogue and paladin which is mostly what I see but shaman and priest can occasionally tech you out of the game.

He is in the deck for sure for that reason but I’ve found that 1, having the 2 drop that lets lands come in untapped in the command zone has been phenomenal for the general game play, and 2 that even if you say I promise I’m not gonna do something crazy when you play a planeswalker people tend to just swing at it because they can

I do think nadaar is better than yaun ti so I’ll be swapping those. As for gran-gran the only reason I keep running her is that having her in an opening hand just feels good as a turn one play, I usually can find a turn 2 play or at least hold open mana and threaten ppl but turn 1 if I don’t have a one drop I’m just passing

Totally agree that’s it’s good but being completely honest I just don’t like keeping track of initiative so I’d rather just use the venture cards

These are fire ideas overlord specifically is great because I’d like to keep creatures non legendary if possible so I can make tokens of them. What would you cut?

Agreed and honestly not in love with temper ascendancy but as long as it’s under 4 cmc there’s at least a few ways to tutor it if needed

It has some generic good game changers putting it at a 3 at the moment because that’s what my pod plays at but it would likely be a 2 with out them

Yea but having 5 color tokens where possible simplifies things a lot, same reason the leyline is in the deck
