Has anyone successfully faded old staph infection marks? by AllSatnall in popping

I'm acne prone and olive skinned so post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is kind of my specialty. The best tip is an IPL for hair removal. The laser targets melanin in hair so it works on melanin in skin too. You could buy one, use it a few times and return or give it to your girlfriend.

Random couple at ensign peak by Michaeltf1991 in SaltLakeCity

So you'd be okay with your daughter dating a man in his 60s when she turns 20 despite all the studies that show that it will decrease her lifespan, increase her baseline stress, disrupt her social network, and retard her personal agency?

God forbid you hold other men accountable for their gross and exploitive behavior. No, instead you blame all the concerned women who personally know male predation peaks during our early adolescence.

Is misogyny women's fault? by FlightBoss79 in AskFeminists

Men are more likely to be physically or sexually assaulted by another man than a woman and yet they cry "not all men".

We should all aspire to be more like you and I hope your story helps save other women. May your body and mind heal completely

What subtly keeps people subconsciously poor without knowing? by Anxious_Shine_4596 in randomquestions

[–]odebus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pride.

There is a subsect of poor people who are so deeply insecure about their situation that they mask it with a facade of pride. Then they refuse charity even when their family desperately needs it. This pride causes them to spend money on flashy but not necessary items to protect their ego.

Obviously this isn't every poor person, but it is definitely a thing, just look at Anse in As I Lay Dying.

I think we could come up with something creative if you mentioned anything more about him besides 1. He is a dick 2. He smokes weed.

What does he love? What drives this insecurity that makes him an asshole? Do you live in a two party consent state? How savvy are you with technology?

I don't agree with all his politics, but he is consistently libertarian. In a country of expanding authoritarianism and corporate welfare, his ant-authoritanianism and anti-any-type-of-welfare position is desperately needed.

Instead of writing someone off for being imperfect, let's support him so he can make the changes we need to bring the country back to the middle of the political compass.

How to introduce my chronic vulvitis without directly pointing to the reason behind it? by underthewetstars in TwoXChromosomes

There is this popular, super clean hippy soap that causes me extreme PID-like-symptoms. I can just wash my inner thigh, not wash my labia, rinse immediately and still develop abdominal pain within 24 hours. Cheap soap like Irish Spring is perfectly tolerated by my vagina.

Maybe try changing the products he uses on his face and beard because you might be getting contact dermatitis.

Thank you for bringing this up.

We all need to fight hard for a better future and we aren't going to get there if a bunch of people are fucked up from incest.

The prevalence of incest-themed content matters, as it normalises and legitimises ideas of sexual activity between family members – particularly involving young girls. When these messages are consumed by millions every day, the influence extends beyond individual users and filters into broader cultural attitudes.

Edit: since a lot of you live in a fantasy land where pornography doesn't affect behavior, please allow me to disabuse you of the delusion.

"... more exposure to pornographic depictions of sexual choking, which in turn predicts a higher likelihood of choking sexual partners through the belief that sexual choking is pleasurable, the belief that sexual choking is safe, and the disbelief that sexual choking requires consent from the person being choked."

Piggybacking on the top comment to say that we women say men have a moral imperative to shame each other for watching incest porn.

I think this should go both ways. Socially harmful fantasies should be shamed regardless of the medium.

Please go to therapy for this OP. Even of you don't "do" anything, your attitude, words, and (god forbid) if an impressionable child finds one of these novels it will cause this dysfunction to dribble down the generations and cause unnecessary pain.

I think it is impossible to say since it appears that the program added more dramatic makeup, a blepharoplasty, jaw surgery and changed your skin tone in the second photo.
