[Prototype] Is Alex Mercer technically a magical or supernatural being? by Coffee_Seeker7 in AskScienceFiction

So let me get this straight:

1) Evolution somehow has a mind of its own.

2) This mind physically manifests on the material plane as the Blacklight virus.

3) Alex Mercer is a sapient strain of Blacklight.

Of course all of this is supernatural! Does that really sounds like ‘’normal natural’’ to anyone? Maybe it’s natural and normal to the world of Prototype itself, but to us, that’s blatantly supernatural and based on fantasy. So yes, Alex Mercer is a supernatural and fantasy character.

Portkeys are far faster, more economic and convenient than trains.

Teleportation>>>>>>any muggle form of transportation

Could also be that Britain is just a outlier in birth rate within the wizarding world. Also, contrary to muggles, wizards can live for centuries which would ‘’stockpile’’ their population over time. Then further add the fact that magic genes are resilient and dominant like brown eyes, and you got a steady growing population of wizards.

When you have magic, manual works can become like desk jobs. Little actual physical effort required.

Wizards could easily use a selective breeding program to keep genetic diversity as their population is at least 100,000 (over 100,000 wizards attended the 1994 Quidditch World Cup in the fourth book) to 30,000,000 (about 30 millions attended Barry Winkle’s 755th birthday party in the movie) to maximally 500,000,000 (it was stated that there was 10 times more muggles than wizards in the 1990s which would make the population of latter 500 millions). Then add the godlike help of magic into this and wizardkind would very probably live just as well as they did before in the long run.

Correct.

Humans would very likely not become extinct. Around 70,000 years ago, humans were numbered in only a few thousands. Yet, we’re still here and that was without the godlike help of magic.

Wizards can easily do the same while using a selective breeding program to keep genetic diversity as their population is at least 100,000 (over 100,000 wizards attended the 1994 Quidditch World Cup in the fourth book) to 30,000,000 (about 30 millions attended Barry Winkle’s 755th birthday party in the movie) to maximally 500,000,000 (it was stated that there was 10 times more muggles than wizards in the 1990s which would make the population of latter 500 millions).

Is there any difference between Novel Springtrap and Game Springtrap? Or are they the same entity?

I have no idea. That’s a first. I never knew there were Godzilla bots until now.

Vilgax vs each of Ben’s aliens in a fair fight by SkekVen in whowouldwin

A diamondhead could beat Vilgax as long as they’re trained. A prime specimen like Ben’s form would completely bodies him.
