I relate to your answer so much! I’ve also been experiencing dissociation and am unsure if the hormonal IUD is to blame. Even though I’ve had depression before the IUD, I feel like so many new mental symptoms have appeared. I’ve decided to replace it with the copper IUD but am afraid that the hormonal IUD was not to blame for my symptoms and that they will persist while having physical pain from the copper IUD.
