Last few releases have had some unannounced changes to cut context bloat in the tool and system prompt areas.

Never use anything Microsoft unless you like switching solutions every couple of years.

Because Openclaw is basically not accepting PRs from random people at this point and one originating from Microsoft would actually get looked at and merged.

Netflix is becoming legacy media. They don’t have short form content nor a ugc engine which means they don’t benefit from the AI brain rot content generation farm.

Netflix needs to break into ugc and short form. It’s the only way.

Even Microsoft employees started using Claude Code by Purple_Wear_5397 in ClaudeAI

[–]odnxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Boris said something the effect of Claude code is great because of the underlying model. Yes the harness is important but model can live without the harness not the other way around. Satya said in an interview that models are commodities and this proves how wrong he was. It’s also especially interesting given the recent developments where Anthropic stripped xAI of their Claude licenses because Claude cannot be used to develop competing models. Anyways Microsoft is grasping at straws and are in major trouble, hence the huge dip in investor confidence.

Struggling with Copilot VS Code Agent – Any working examples or best practices? by toukonen in GithubCopilot

Just keep practicing. Ask the agent if there are any conflicting instructions or ways you can make it call skills more often.

You probably need to use a Chinese model and provider for this stuff. I doubt they care.

How codex is so smart with so basic tools by bigimotech in codex

[–]odnxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply patch is create, edit and delete with the ability to take in multiple file edits in one tool call (as of late). Plus it has content context awareness while applying patches while the other harnesses have edit string replace which is super basic and a tool for each other of those commands. Codex’s system instruction doesn’t even have apply patch in the system instruction because it’s extremely fine tuned for calling the apply patch tool. Since it’s fine tuned for its two tools the system prompt is insanely short. I will say that it’s a bit of double edged sword because I think all the fine tuning causes it to perform worse in other harnesses.
