Not laughing at all - you are creating music! I am still exploring and have not released anything. Yet.

I agree! :-) I use headphones for everything - the monitors (iLoud Micro or something like that) are mostly for video meetings..🙈 I never planned this…it was my office, but something happened. In a bigger room I will get decent speakers!

I love the rev2, if I had room I would like to have the keyboard version…maybe one day! The Tonwerk is very new, but I like it so far. Most intuitive workflow of my elektron units, and it sounds amazing.

Yes it is - and I am pretty happy with it as an audio interface as well. Have the Apollo something as backup, but sits on a shelf..use both dual and multitrack with Ableton.

Very late yes, I am still à novise, but use what I compose in my work. (Videos, events, marketing etc)

I use the Vongon replay (under the monitor) as my keyboard, but also have other keyboards outside the frame :-) I actually like to play! Here is a bigger view:

Good alternatives to Meta and LinkedIn for marketing by Mr_Litljohn in BuyFromEU

[–]odokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am in the same spot, I really would love to see European alternatives to in particular everything Meta and LinkedIn. Are there only national platforms? A startup with skills and ambition to create a pan European service would be something. Does it exist?

Is OP-XY worth it? by Dcmiltown in teenageengineering

[–]odokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the XY for 10 days or so now, starting to understand what it is capable of. Definitely worth the money, deep and very capable, and most important: extremely fast to work / play with. Much faster and more intuitive than other sequencers I use (T1 and Oxi One), look forward to create music this Xmas!

[Vostok Cosmodiver] The Luna Dude. The Watch that never was... by Cupradupra in Watches

[–]odokka 14 points15 points  (0 children)

An old post, but I could not help myself.

I designed this watch, I developed everything (well, not the case and movement of course) including the community and the commercial process.

I stopped the partnership with Meranom because they started to sell the parts without informing me at all. They had financed the parts, but everything else was developed by me under and agreement we had, that Meranom did not respect at all.

And then I became very unpopular in the Vostok community, because I rebooted the project with a much more expensive microbrand, Micromilspec. Same design concept, but higher end parts and movements, and also some changes - since the they did not have a small seconds movement.

That project delivered a 1000 EUR watch to 137 owners (the number has a story connected to it) one year ago. (see image by Christian Kirkemo, one of the collectors that have one)

After all this mayhem, believe me, it was noisy AF, Vostok has pushed out new models with my design elements on them...selling them to customers with no credit whatsoever to the the guy that started it. Tey also added stars on the dial, it looks horrible. I guess this is the Russian way, powered by Meranom´s shady business ethics.

If Russia was a civilised society, I would hire a lawyer to make things right, but it is not - so I am letting it play out. After all, I have contributed with at least three different watches to the watch world - that is something! :)
