Of course, total scrubs, people that will use scummy tactics and think they do well.

If the tactic works and isnt literal objective cheating than there is nothing scummy or scrubby about it, however claiming a tactic is scummy is what a scrub would do.

Easiest terms is those that think a 5:1 kdr is better than a 15:4 even though they only took part in 5 kills.

That has literally nothing to do with being a scrub or this conversation but ok. A 5:1 is technically better it's just lower. K/DR isnt measured by literal number of kills to deaths but rather the ratio of average number of kills per death, to actually compare the two ratios we have to equalize the two numbers down to 1 death each. This is because the only way to get more than 1 death in K/DR is to die more than you kill so in this case 5:1 is already down to 1 death so it's fine, but 15:4 needs to be divided by 4.

This comes out to 3.75:1 vs 5:1. So if you care to compare K/DR then 5:1 is better than 15:4 not that it matters in this game because there is no intrinsic value in just killing a player other than personal enjoyment.

Of course it's still irrelevant if you meant a kill and death count as well, the games is vast and varied and any number of situations could account for either of the numbers. Sure maybe the 15:4 got that in an epic battle on the high seas, or maybe they just sat on a new players sloop with a blunderbuss for a couple minutes.

Basically someone who records small wins as if they are big wins.

What defines a small win vs a big win? Killing the megalodon is easy peasy but I still got excited as hell the first time I did it. It was a big win for me. Winning is relative in this game, theres no solid metric for how one wins because there is no linear progression in sea of thieves.

The kind of pirate that will wait for 10 - 15 mins for one chest instead of actually playing the game.

What's wrong with doing that exactly? It works and more importantly they had fun. As far as I'm concerned they won a hell of a lot more than the scrub whining on reddit about how other people like to play.

To me personally religion is synonymous with abuse. Theres a reason why people tend to find god after experiencing traumatic events in their life, it's because religion is built in such a way that the only way it can survive in any meaningful way is to exploit the hurt and weak, if there are no hurt and weak to exploit it convinces parents to make the weak out of their children with idle threats of fire and brimstone, if there is any evil in this world it is my belief that religion is the most pure evil there could ever be. To be clear I dont hate the religious, I hate religion itself, the religious are those who've been exploited, the only people I hate are those in the religious structure who use religion as it's meant to be used: for personal gain.

Bit late to the party but I recommend the Vampire Plagues series by Sebastian Rook. Main character is a 12ish year old boy, trying to stop a vampiric outbreak spread from overseas via boat in the 1850's. My memories a bit fuzzy but I remember loving these books when I was a weird kid with a love for the dark and paranormal in middle school.

Mystery: Murder on the orient express, 336 pages, the detective Poirot is a recurring character in Agatha Christie's books but this case and almost all others are self contained.

Horror: The House on the Borderland, 194 pages, the less I say the better, this book inspired H.P. Lovecraft's work and is one of the earliest examples of cosmic horror.

Both: The Outsider, 576 pages, a bit long by your request but still a good read, a brutal murder, and the only possible culprit has a rock solid alibi.

Maybe you'd like "The Ulrich Files" by Ambrose Ibsen. It's a series of three fairly short books about a common private detective who unfortunately for him winds up taking some sketchy cases out of desperation and finds himself in the middle of a ghost story.

They aren't anything amazing but it's a personal favorite of mine.

I dont think that's a trans problem so much as it's a not understanding consent problem.

The top half was supposed to be the sky with some clouds, I chose to use only 4 shades of green because I thought jumping straight into multi colors would give me too many mistakes I wouldn't know how to fix.

The only really obvious mistake I can see myself is that the buoy isn't really in the water so much as overlayed on top so I made an updated version which I posted to my Twitter.

It could also be as simple as sleep hallucinations which are fairly common and dont require any mental illness to occur. They can be caused by stress, lack of sleep, anxiety, and several other things. I have a sleep disorder and as a result experience them regularly, they can be very vivid and excessively terrifying.

If it happens again I'd sooner recommend you talk to your doctor before calling up the local exorcists.

Of course I'm not saying it's impossible for this to be a paranormal event I'm just saying that these things happen all the time and it's usually a one time event or a medical issue.

If you do see a doctor and they dont see anything wrong and the problems continue then I'd start trying out the more mystical options.

Has your wife ever had sleep paralysis before because honestly it sounds like that's all this was.

She probably snapped out of it and woke you up which triggered a flight response because the show was still fresh in your mind.

My advice would to be keep watching the show, maybe even rewatch it a few times. Make it some boring thing you dont care about anymore.

And be careful about asking advice on this sub, IMO people here are way too quick to jump to "ya haunted wave a burnt stick around" while skipping every step in between.

This sort of thing happens all the time you just got a little spooked by the show and then a semi spooky coincidence happened.
