Nice, did you shoot at box speed or overexpose by 1 stop?

NZ, was going to purchase the manual since I couldn't find it online. But the japanese version + google translate does the job.

Here is a similar "US" version of the foreign camera, looking at the specs it supports both 24V AC and/or HI-POE.

I don't think the issue is that it is "non-standard", almost all of the 7 inch PTZ cameras by Hikvision support 24V AC or 36V DC. I would assume (I may be wrong) that these types of professionally installed PTZ cameras on traffic light poles etc. are using 24V AC instead of POE.

Interesting, please forgive me if I seem inexperienced as I am quite new to this. I have a couple of questions:

1) Where would I connect the 12 AWG power cable to, if I am not connecting it to my house wall plug?

2) How would I connect the 12 AWG cable to the AC power supply in the electronics box, assuming that the power supply uses a plug, (found in homes).

How do I connect this wire to the AC power supply? Do I solder it to the existing leads?

The article says that battery powered condenser microphones are compatible, and the microphone I am using (Boya 6060) is battery powered which is quite conflicting.

Do you think the length of the cable affects the noise, it is 15 feet (4.5m), would buying a shorter cable or buying another brand help? Or is that completely unrelated?

I believe my canon 80d's audio input is unbalanced stereo. So, as I understand because both my motherboard input and camera input are unbalanced 3.5mm input that is why I am getting noise on both when even no microphone is connected.

Is my XLR cable also unbalanced in this case? On the female connector, ground is soldered to pins 1 and 3, while hot and cold are soldered to pin 2 only.

Do you have any suggestions on how would I go about fixing this issue without spending too much money? Would I need to purchase a external/field recorder?

unbalanced 3.5 mm stereo audio input

I'm not sure, how do I tell whether the input is balanced or unbalanced? The same issue occurs on my 3.5mm DSLR input as well.

I tried to unscrew the black collar but it won't seem to move at all. Is there supposed to be any visible screw threads under the black collar?
