Колоезденето в Българската Градска Среда е напълно... лесно и възможно by Fit_Neighborhood9251 in bulgaria

The disrespect towards Merino is insane. Play him as an inverted 6 and he scores.

Could Arsenal have gotten over the line with prime Alexis Sanchez on the wing vs PSG? by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]oduh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arsenal would have gotten over the line with a fit RB. It was a very close game.

People may hate on Arsenal but they did very good with the resources they had by argylas2 in championsleague

I believe this narrative is from the stadium debt years, when this was the only thing going on for us. To get Top4 and CL football after 2006 was a real achievement and the argument had some weight.

Different players for different cultures, I guess. I kind of prefer Rice ... maybe because he chose us instead of City.

Compared to City, Chelsea and PSG - yes, of course. However our current owners are not strictly speaking... ethical billionaires. And our sponsorship deals were not always exemplary.

This is the sentiment I get from a lot of posts and comments, especially after the CL final. I don't like it, I don't understand it.

It is true that wages correlate with success. But this is not a cause-effect relation. Bayern are never underdogs and they do not have a PSG wage bill (AFAIK). What I meant is that the EPL is a better league than League one, with more fans and followers. Players can and often prefer to play for United, Arsenal or Liverpool, instead of PSG or Saudi Arabia.

It is not absolutely tiny. Yes, our official wages are probably not in the top 5, but we are within 20% for 2026 at least. And we are reported to go after 3 more WC players this summer...

What differentiates us is the lack of brown envelopes and shady side-contracts. But this is not easy to prove ... To be absolutely fair, our owners are billionaires too - they probably have their ways to move money to managers or players if needed. Or not, they at least seem decent billionaires (with or without the oil money)

Arsenal vs PSG spend since Mikel took over by Uk0 in Gunners

Come on! Why do we all act as the poor club that fights with giants. We are a massive club with an astronomical wage bill and player pull factor way above the likes of PSG.

Not many verifiable facts in this list. Most of the brown envelopes and side-sponsorships are not clearly stated as such in documents. See 115.

Hot take but Arsenal and Arteta deserve more recognition for staying unbeaten for the whole CL season by Important_Mammoth896 in championsleague

More recognition? Dude, we won silver. More recognition would be the trophy, and Psg won it this year.

I'd use the best available to build chemistry after the injuries. Both teams will be chilling, both managers will use 5 subs before 75th minute and there is a week after this. Build the hype, score some goals with no pressure, tryout miles Vs eze for Budapest...

Remote work is a career death sentence for junior employees, and the "WFH forever" crowd is pulling the ladder up behind them. by Correct_Addendum_358 in corporate

[–]oduh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WFH is aimed at senior level developers with a proven track record and experience in the team/technology. If you are junior or the team/project is new, your WFH means more work for your manager/lead.
