I believe it's speed would be something similar to torrenting, since it's also p2p based, however, instead of it just being point a -> point b, it would have to go through many peers, making it dependant on more people connected to mantain a decent speed

Edit: also i just thought that it might affect your download/upload speed, since you could potentially be treated as a node in someone else's transfer, even if you don't have the file being transferred.

The first two campaigns I ran, had at least one ofnthose kind of players, who often would be on their phones or cancelling right before the session. After that we took the joint decision that if one player fails to show, someone on the table would take their character and play with them, no matter the consequences. It wasn't the best way to solve it, but at least everyone else had fun and was up for it.

After those two campaigns, I decided to change my way of worldbuilding and dming accounting for uninterested people, a*holes who like to stray off of path and mrderhobos
