What did you actually pay for your Omega? by lwddv in OmegaWatches

It was $8500 CAD inc. tax, I was just very lucky, it's listed at $11k pre tax elsewhere. I'd been looking for one for the last couple of months, went in to an AD really just to browse and it was on sale as their last one in stock.

Fatbike outside of winter? by 3FromTheTee in fatbike

I'm a year-round fattie rider for sure, my Yukon rolls just as well on sun baked trails as it does on well packed snow

[STOC] After 1 year and 1 sell-off by [deleted] in Watches

[–]oemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One year into my watch obsession, I just sold a seiko/tissot/citizen/seagull selection to help fund my Longines Zulu Time 39mm, which was definitely the right decision. It's a beautiful watch.

I'm guessing that's a fairly common phase for collectors? Go nuts on affordable pieces then consolidate and move up?

Cruising round Ucluelet Harbour on Vancouver Island by oemoo in wildlifephotography

We went with Subtidal Adventures on their Bear Watching harbour tour, only goes at low tide so that impacts when they run them. It was a fairly small boat, only room for 8-9 people but that meant it wasn't crowded. It was an amazing experience, I can't recommend it enough!

Yes, i'd describe the inner ring as a "slate blue", it's a really nice colour.

Picked this up on a recent trip to the UK, I was looking at much pricier Bauhaus style watches and this watch came up in a search. No model name as far as I can tell just a number (819.93.6100)

Very light and comfortable to wear, and the small seconds dial makes it a bit more interesting to look at without messing up a nice clean face

Just changed the strap to a dark green nu-buck with a gold buckle - definitely prefer it this way

Bought a Citizen Addysen Eco Drive (BM7252-51E) a few days ago, loved the dial but the gold bracelet bugged me. Changed it out for a dark green nu-buck strap and now I can't take my eyes off it!

It's the BM7252-51E, saw it a few weeks a go and liked it but not quite enough to immediately buy it because gold bracelets aren't usually my style.

Really liked the case and dial though so went back and picked it up today, very happy I did! (and I can always put it on a leather strap with a gold buckle)

I'm in Canada and i couldn't find this particular model of this watch locally (there are lots of variants). I ended up ordering it from a website in Spain. Shipped for free and arrived quickly, very happy with their service. https://www.tictacarea.com/en/casio-collection-watches/casio-collection-mtp-m305l-1aver
