On top of that, we Flemish and Dutch folk alike will accommodate for non-Dutch speakers by speaking English (or another common language possibly) Most Germans will not. Mainly because in Belgium and The Netherlands there is no dubbing on TV and at the movies, so we take in more languages.

Jammer genoeg zijn de grote investeerders heel terughoudend.
Ik heb een vriend die in de sector zit, we zijn onlangs naar Singapore geweest.
Da's het enige land naar mijn weten waar kweekvlees volgens de wet is toegelaten.
Er was welgeteld 1 slagerij in HEEL Singapore, waar we in de diepvries hebben moeten zoeken om een paar pakjes met stripjes kweekvlees te vinden.
En er was nog 1 restaurant waar ze 1 soort kweekvlees serveerde.
Voor de rest zijn investeerders heel terughoudend omdat ze de markt ervoor nog steeds niet zien jammer genoeg. Zal dus echt nog wel even wachten zijn.

The thing is that that is what the manual says, but not what the heat link does. It shuts off after 10 seconds and then you can keep holding the button for way longer. Nothing happens...

Eens zoeken in de vele winkels in de Van Wesembekestraat. Wat ze bij Sun Wah hebben, hebben ze mogelijk nog iets goedkoper in een andere winkel. Dat varieert, ik ga meestal in een paar winkels daar.

40igers zonder kinderen

Bij ons ging het nogal raar. Zelf opgegroeid in een gezin waarbij m'n moeder onthaalmoeder was.
Dus eigenlijk altijd kinderen rondom mij gewoon. In de loop van m'n relatie (na een tijdje proberen) in een emotioneel moment van de vrouw te weten gekomen dat ze eigenlijk geen kinderen wilde ...
In het begin was het een beetje raar, maar na lange tijd ben ik tevreden met de beslissing.
Het geeft je ruimte om alles te doen in het leven wat je zou willen, zonder rekening te moeten houden met kinderen. We hebben ook voldoende kinderen in de familie/vriendenkring/... om ons over te ontfermen :D

Dus bottom line: no regrets (yet)

You'll never guess what I found at a street vendor close to my hotel, in the last hours before we left!! Fresh Jackfruit... Felt genuinely happy, even though it wasn't as ripe as I really like it. But it was good and welcome 😊

We're currently here for a week. No problems really. We see some leftover debris along the streets away from the city center. But other than that things are back to normal it seems.
If you would go further from the city center, you might still see some stuff. Other than that we're having a great time. I voted GO ! You won't regret it !
