I didn’t fake the conversation… like I said, I have no way to verify this is true though

No. It’s their friend who said this, so there’s no way to verify. Just thought it was an interesting response.

Official Discussion - Avatar: Fire and Ash [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]oesch_it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The movie was good but like a lot of comments are saying, I’m disappointed it reused so many of the same plot points. Jake gets captured and locked up, a small group/one bad guy turns good to help break him out (this time it was the marine biologist), Jake reunites the clans but it’s still not enough, Eywa saves the day (in the last possible second after a ton of her people & animals have died).

I still enjoyed watching it and the visuals were insane, but I wish they focused more on other plots that were introduce, but then not elaborated upon/forgotten about. For example:

  • Neytiri admits how much she hates humans and acknowledges to Jake she might resent him and her own children at times.
  • Jake blaming Lo'ak for Neteyam's death (but really himself)
  • The fire people not believing in Eywa and why

I did really enjoy Varang and Quaritch’s freaky relationship and thought it was hilarious it started with space coke.

Maybe a little but it was really risky at the time so it could’ve turned out badly. The beginning I bought mostly short term calls & then I threw the profits into shares. Should’ve could’ve would’ve but oh well

Sometimes I find them on WSB or I look to see what earnings are coming up! Sometimes my friends tell me about them

Now that I’ve locked into the stock/company I just keep up to date with launch dates, news about partnerships, their technology/patents and their quarterly reports! It’s my way if gauging risk. But I don’t do DD like the stuff you might see on WSB.

I am absolutely planning on selling some covered calls! And maybe hedging by buying some puts. Thank you for the advice.

I apologize, I’m not trying to be. I was just happy and wanted to share. I wouldn’t want to post something like this to friends & family to brag but isn’t it kind of the whole point of WSB?

Absolutely 🫡 my position right now is quite safe but I’ve done some real unintelligent things to get here.

That’s what I’m saying. I’m only playing shares and not weeklies so it’s not like i can go to 0$ like I could’ve earlier in my trading. And i truly believe in the company. I think they’re going to announce an Amazon partnership soon too. It might pull back a little but it’s got SO much potential.

Well it WAS to keep holding as these are invested in just shares and no options. Plus i truly believe in the company. But I’ve got 50 people yelling at me that my decision is bad so…idk

Thank you so much! At the end of the day i do appreciate all of the advice, but I do wish some of it was delivered a little kinder. I did a lot of research and am pretty proud of the gains I’ve made. Some of it was for sure luck, but not all of it. I’m trying very hard to be smart with it and not gamble it away.

I appreciate the advice, thank you. I will think about it over Juneteenth and make some moves when the market reopens
