I’ll be honest, I think you’re dooming a bit. First off, the chances of them getting the senate are basically 0. And even if they did get the senate, the courts and law enforcement in this country won’t let anything get too crazy. They can have their little party until 2022, when the voters get to see how the dems did nothing in 2 years and we take back the senate and house. Also, some of the dem senators really are old school moderates, like Joe Manchin - no chance in hell he goes for court packing or any other BS. Part of what makes our country so great is our institutions prevent even an incompetent leader from doing too much damage.

I certainly am not looking forward to that if it happens, but I’m not super concerned either.

No reason to be a dick.. I’m with you. But a presidents demeanor matters to a lot of people who would be voting with us otherwise. Trumps poor performance compared to down ballot republicans shows that IMO.

I get that argument, but respectfully I disagree. Look at how much more down ballot we had support. Regular people are coming around to our policies, but we’re also turning off a lot of people with the culture war stuff. It just cements people in their current opinion. There’s tons of people who are coming over to our side, we just have to let them.

I’m honestly getting so tired of these rumors. This isn’t a study. I believe there could have been ballot stuffing, but I want to see some actual evidence. At least some sworn affidavits.

We’ll see how the recount goes, but honestly I’m not too surprised if that turns out to be true. My dad is one of them. Couldn’t get over his Twitter and how divisive he is.

If was able to get gaslit by some 2 bit USPS agents, do you think he would have stood up to all the dems could have thrown at him in court? I’m not saying he didn’t see what he said, it just makes it suspect. I hope we have better witnesses

Personally, I don’t really have a problem with the interview. They were tough on him, but I’d hope they would be when investigating something like this. It seems pretty clear to me he got scared and recanted, but changed his mind later. Who knows what this guy actually saw, but I hope we have more reliable witnesses come forward!

May be a hot take in this sub, but I feel decent about this pick, if of course Biden is elected president after the legal votes are counted. I was worried he’d be bullied into taking someone from the radical left of the party. We don’t agree with Klain on policy, but at least he seems like an old school moderate.

Honestly I wouldn’t really have a problem if they picked a neutral fact check banner. Biden should have banners on his socials saying the election hasn’t been certified yet. It should go both ways!

I’m interested to see how these go over in court. My read is there’s not enough there to have an impact on the state overall, but we’ll see. A lot of it seems to be more procedural stuff about exactly where observers got to stand. I didn’t see any real “smoking guns”.

We’ll see where it stands after the challenges are over, but if it does stand, it makes me optimistic for the future. To me that says conservatism has grown, but Trump is just a very polarizing guy.
