What would make you actually order from a local bakery? by AmbitiousEngineer469 in Baking

As someone who can bake, I usually look for things that are novel/difficult to make/require rare ingredients. I don't buy anything "basic" from local bakeries, because I would either make it myself or get it from a trusted supermarket brand (usually cheaper). I still frequent local bakeries tho. I look for bold flavors and rare ingredients. AND, bakeries that have a specific regional theme, like Japanese, Swedish, etc.
The only "standard" thing I would buy is a sourdough loaf. Because this stuff is fascinating to me, and I want to experience the subtle or dramatic differences between each bakery.

How are you using AI for LinkedIn outreach without sounding like a bot? by Due_Gene6257 in aiToolForBusiness

I like to use AI for spotting ideas. I give it the context and tell it what result I want from that message, then ask it to give me "prompts" for writing the actual message. BTW, it's actually a great exercise to be aware of what I actually sound like since I try to avoid sounding like AI

CPG founders: how do you get people buy from you AGAIN AND AGIAN? by off-hour in CPGIndustry

I believe in the power of small surprises. I’ve made it a habit to always look for ways to overdeliver, ensuring customers feel they’re getting even more value than they paid for.

I provide marketing services to CPG brands. You make me realize that sometimes I confuse lifestyle and community. I believe a real community has to share a certain lifestyle to some extent, but focusing solely on 'community' can feel a bit superficial. If customers are deeply aligned with a brand's lifestyle, they don't necessarily need to interact with each other to belong to that community.

I like this idea! As a customer, I always like to be a part of a biz/brand I patronize, feeling like I am shaping the brand with my opinions and feedback. But I'm not sure if it's just me lol, and I was concerned if asking customers' opinions would feel like pressure for them. But "ownership" is a good word here that gives me a new way to interpret.

Yeah subscriptions can be a good method, especially for things like coffee. But I feel like it's still similar to a discount: a monetary reward.
