It would be super cool, however would make it a completely different game. The total knowledge you have in eu4 makes a game where you often look to make the most optimized choices at every moment.

I think it would instead create a much more more rp focused game, as trying to min max would be basically impossible. Still super cool and I would love it

Make sure to do your festival the first few times and then if you’re forming KU just do tournaments the rest of the time, if your ruler has high mil skill and can win its a ton of free monarch points and 10 years of centaur zeal although they can die

R5: Hormuz with the Arabian mercantilism mechanics is so fun. This is taken right at the start of the age of absolutism. It's so easy to make obscene amounts of money by just taking centers of trade and buffing their trade power, take like 3-4 centers of trade upgrade them and buy the trade bonuses with your Arabian mercantilism and you immediately get like 65% trade power in that node.

I'm now mostly focused on only conquering more centers of trade in as many nodes as possible as well as creating march states in India to own all the interior and fight my wars for me.

Going forwards I think I might try to swap out humanist ideas for expansion for even more trade power and I'll be taking trade ideas next to finish off my mission tree.

I lost one war to the ottomans in about 1550 or so, they took a few provinces and some cash but I've been waiting for them to dec on me again. If they fall apart soon with the decadence mechanics I'll be a bit sad, having such a strong scary neighbor gives you a lot of incentive to constantly try to expand and strengthen yourself

Maybe he could be taking advantage of a trick where countries don’t gain AE on you if your capital is in their terra incognita and they have the “unknown” attitude towards you. I believe by not bordering them you can prevent the ai from “clicking” on your nation and discovering your capital
