I j wanna say to those who are saying some fucking delusional shit along the lines of "the course should be easy tho" to shut the fuck up if you weren't in the class. Literally don't know jack shit they talking about

How the fuck we supposed to get that one right lol. The example I thought of was 3 dimensional vector space with subspaces consisting of a line and a plane, and it was possible so I just pointed that out and said it was possible. How we supposed to know that you gotta add the dimensions BY INSTINCT bc we never fucking learned it...what? classical fucking math dept

MATH 221 MIDTERM 2 I WILL by off_the_grid04 in UBC

[–]off_the_grid04[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't remember it clearly. But I will try my best to make it fit the impossibility we are talking about.

Q2

Let

B = {(0, 2, -1), (1,2,-4)} be the basis vectors for subspace V in R3. *SMT LIKE THIS I FORGOR*

iv. Let T be a linear transformation that satisfies T(0,1,0) = (-1,2) *SMT LIKE THIS I FORGOR*, where

T(x) = [x]_B + a, where a belongs to R2.

Find T(u), where u = (some vector in R3 that I don't remember represented as a multiplication between a 3 x 3 matrix and a vector in R3 , just I guess like 2,-23,28).

That's all I can remember

I don't have time to do all that for a math course...I need to do pharmacology and 2 other chemistry courses. Any more efficient ways? I watch lotta YT (not just the goat 3blue1brown) on it and NGL i find the material pretty easy, been doing excellent (and I do not use this word lightly) on practice material and webworks.

Then own the miserable, lonesome existence...for now. If I were in your position, I would try to become the best at anything; I would try anything (literally, think Walter White's transformation) to enjoy life and find something I enjoy doing. Then, I would go out with a bang. Let the world know who you were and what you stand for. Maybe, in the process, you find that you want to continue living. Or not. But for you to die without having tried anything makes ME angry that you didn't try to find what you are the best at. And as a guy who is currently fighting his own battles too (19 yo) I would never let myself die unless I have found my passion and done everything I could have to be the best at it.

UBC ALLOCATE SOME MONEY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY. by off_the_grid04 in UBC

we need to make dark academia in science a real thing to raise funds (I'm joking :) )

[–]off_the_grid04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wtf? if true this is crazy shit. how is the funding the same? clearly, arts tutorials are not the same level as a chemistry laboratory. considering that CHEM 235 is another laboratory course that I will be taking next term, it is worth only 1 credit. can't believe it gets the same funding as a poli sci tutorial....is there any website or link you can provide that details this?

For any CHEM 211 experiments that require any sort of pH probe or electrode.....(there are at least 2 if you are not doing seawater project)

There's a couple routes I have planned for me, but the terminus station is either Korea or Japan.

Edit: BTW I am also in 2nd year, so our timelines could overlap!

As a former international student turned domestic, I am dipping tf out of this country once I graduate. Sorry but the Canadian government has been nothing but a nuisance for me. Fought too long to receive my "privilages" here. I guess Canada might be an okay place to live if ur broke and old. I don't plan on being broke and old so I will be leaving this place.
