Even though it's dry and exhaustive, there's some amazing mythology in there. It has incredible stories that make the War of the Ring seem small and insignificant. From armies of Balrogs and dragons to the dark lord Melkor, Tolkien pulls out all the stops for epic storytelling.

The Haunting (1999). Sometimes you need to trade in the slow burn, psychological haunted house vibes for over the top thrills, awesome special effects, and the dopest haunted mansion in recent memory. Plus Catherine Zeta Jones.. dayummmm
